Family Vacation

We wanted to get in one last hoorah before baby sister comes and Bekam starts school, so we decided to go down to Salt Lake and stay for a few days.  We left Wednesday afternoon and headed to our hotel.  Thursday we went to Hogle Zoo, did a little shopping, and went to Temple Square.  Friday we went and saw "Planes" and then headed to Chris and Alyssa's that night.  Saturday we went with Chris and Alyssa to Cherry Hill and the kids played and played.  Sunday we headed home.  It was great to get out of the house and do something different besides our normal day to day.  We had a lot of fun.

Throughout the zoo they have different Lego animals on display.  I think Bekam liked the Lego animals as much as he liked the real ones.

Rafe finally decided on the Rhino, Bekam and I were on the opposite side because he chose the preying mantis.

This one was my favorite, it was huge!  They told us it weighs 400 lbs.

Rafe had had enough by the end so he wasn't in a very picture taking mood.

After the zoo we headed to Ikea and Rafe was super tired so Dan fashioned him a bed and Bekam watched a movie on my phone.  It may have been the most pleasant and quiet shopping experiences we've ever had.

And this is the only picture I took at Chris and Alyssa's.  I wish I had some from Cherry Hill, but we didn't want to have to keep track of our camera.  But it was so much fun and the boys loved it.  And the kids had so much fun playing with Kardynn and Madix.

Bekam is getting to be so old!  He learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels.  And he loves it!

Rafe decided he was done wearing his cast a week before he was supposed to get it off.  The Dr. said he was probably ok and we wouldn't need to recast it.  (This was the second time he had popped it off, the first time was after only having it on a week and we were in Sam's club :0)).

But oh happy day, because he could now play in the sand box again.

I've had two people ask me if these two are twins, I know they look alike but twins...really?!
