Accidents and 27 weeks

Always something super hero going on in our house.

Dad even got in on the action.  I will be very curious to see how our little girl survives with all of these wild guys, she will be one tough cookie.

This is about the same point that I realized with Rafe that we hadn't taken a belly shot.  So here is me at 27 weeks.

Cooling off in our fun new pool.

So last Monday our little accident child Rafe decided to take a little spill and break his arm.  He has a buckle fracture, one in each arm bone.  This child may kill me with worry one of these days.  In just under one year he has had 1 ambulance ride, 2 ER visits, 1 hospital stay (5 days), 1 cat scan, 2 chest xrays, 2 xrays on his leg, and now an arm xray.  Lets just say the past year has been a little expensive with medical bills, but thank goodness for good insurance.
This is right after he got his splint on at the Peds office.  It was 8:00 and we still hadn't gotten dinner so we grabbed the boys favorite, pizza pie cafe.

Getting ready to head into the zoo.

We had to see an orthopedic Dr as well and he put a hard cast on.

Here is the happy camper with his hard cast, definitely more durable than the splint.  He has been a real trooper through the whole thing.  Let's pray this is the end of his accidents for a while!

OH my goodness! Poor Rafe and poor momma! How sad that he broke his arm. :( Glad he is ok though.

You look so good at 27 weeks Kari! Not fair. I was a tubo at that point! :)

We need to get together soon before you have your baby and life gets even more crazy for you. :)
