Fun Fun Stuff

So far December has been fun and eventful and we still have a birthday and Christmas coming as well. These are just a few pics of the munchkins and all their cuteness. So our dog is quite the monkey and can climb the baby gate so we had to put the kitchen chairs in front to try to keep her in the laundry room (she can still get out). But Rafe enjoyed playing in the chairs. And here is the little devil herself, it's a good thing she's cute. So happy to be awake! Gotta love the upside down binky! Last Monday for FHE we went to the museum of Idaho for their Christmas display and then came back and made snowflake tortillas (got the idea from Our Best Bites). Bekam being my big helper. Our masterpiece. Enjoying our hard work. Bekam doesn't usually like tortillas but when it's doused in sugar who can resist :0). And now for the best day ever!!!! Dan and I got to go down to Pocatello for a concert. And it was fantastic! Mindy Gledhill was performing her new Christmas Album Winter Moon and some songs off of her previous album Anchor. And it was amazing! She is seriously so talented, and.... I got to meet her too! Seriously made my day.

November, Rafe 11 months

Another month has come and gone! And my little baby is going to have a birthday this month!! This is a picture Bekam took of Rafe the other day, lately he has preferred being behind the camera instead of in front of it. Every time I try to take a picture he either covers his face or runs away. Here are a few of Rafe's favorites spots in the house. At the gate poking at Khloe, and if the gates open dunking his hand in her water bowl...so gross! Don't worry I do wash his hands if that happens. Another one of Bekam's awesome pics, he just happened to catch Rafe pulling the gate down and falling backwards you can see my hands trying to get over to catch him before he smacks his head on the tile. The other place you will find him is in Bekam's room...he loves it in there. He is never in his own room, Bekam must have the better toys. And Bekam has learned to play up on his bed so Rafe won't get into what he's trying to play with. And of course Mr. Big Guy is pulling him self up onto everything now and has started to walk around things, so this is how we find him in his crib now. And of course my new FAVORITE...the cheesy smile...so great! Love this pic! Rafe has a little bit of an advantage with the huge sword! And last but not least, the poor guy had to suffer through croup and an ear infection, and the week before he popped out another tooth. So needless to say he was a little miserable for a while.

Halloween, New addition, Rafe 10 months!

As you can tell Bekam was Optimus Prime for Halloween and Rafe was "Bumble Bee" :0) They don't make actual Bumble Bee costumes from the movie that small so we improvised. We put bandages on the dog's leg so she could be Mojo. I only got one picture of them both looking forward because Rafe was way too interested in what Bekam had on his face. Coming to trick or treat to mom :0) The Friday before we carved pumpkins...two wild and crazy guys We got the pack n play out so Rafe wouldn't be right in the middle of all the mess and sharp objects. He was black by the time he got done. Here is our new little addition to the fam, Miss Khloe I snuck into Bekam's room to get this picture, this kid is all over the place when he sleeps. Pulling all the movies off of the shelf is pretty much a daily thing for Rafe. Mr organization, just like his mother :0) You can tell by his face he's now realizing that he is stuck. Rafe is ALL over the place now and into just about everything. I got these pjs at Sam's club, got to love the footie jammies.

Catching up

Here is a little catch up of the last month, where did September go?! I can't believe we're already into October and I put up my Halloween decorations. Well last month we have been enjoying the last little bit of the summer and especially those wonderful Idaho evenings where the weather is just perfect. Rafe turned nine months and that kiddo is all over the place, he is officially crawling! Bekam and Rafe are interacting more and more and starting to act like siblings, you know Rafe crying and getting mad if Bekam takes a toy or Bekam getting mad because Rafe is getting into his stuff...you know all that fun stuff :0). Here is Rafe driving his first car, he's a natural. Most evenings before the boys bedtime we would just go out front and play outside and enjoy the nice weather. Bekam has a ball riding his bike with all of the neighbor kids. Seriously!! Look at that face! I just want to squeeze those cheeks! This picture makes me laugh, Bekam is wearing the other set of Rafe's pjs. 2 1/2 yrs apart and can almost share the same clothes :0). Now that Rafe is on the move we have to get back into baby proof mode. Someone is a big fan of cords and the door stoppers. I had to go take off all of the white rubber things on the end cause I caught him with one in his mouth, super fun. What started out as a trim turned into a whole new hair cut. Long story short Bekam wanted it short and once it was gone wanted it back, there were a few tears, but he perked right back up when I told him his tiger (his very best friend) had the same hair cut and all was well again. So fun the boys take baths together now and have a ball. One last trip to the zoo, good thing we went last weekend because you'll see why in a few pictures down. What the Crap! Yeah was not expecting this...I know we live in Idaho but seriously I thought it was too soon even for us. I opened the door to show Bekam and asked what it was and he said "Christmas!" and was beaming with pure joy and excitement. And so we of course had to go outside and partake, but now it means we need to get snow pants and real gloves. Playing with the neighbor boys. Ignore the ugly garbage can, but I couldn't move it cause the garbage man hadn't come yet and I didn't want to come back out to get a picture cause it was freezing!
