New Addition

Well the big day has finally come and gone. Our new little one was born Monday the 20th. I went in that morning for a c section and a few hours later we welcomed Rafe. Everything went really well, he weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 oz and 20.5 in. Here is a before pic before they started hooking me up to everything and poking me with all sorts of needles. Big brother Bekam meeting his new little brother. He was so excited. My three boys! So tired from all that awesome medication. Here is the little angel, he has tons of thick dark hair. Trying to stay entertained in the hospital. Heading home. Bekam was so excited to have Rafe and I finally home, three days in the hospital got to be a little much for him. Big hugs... and kisses. So glad to be in our own home!

Merry Christmas

We were slackers this year with taking pics on Christmas, here is the only picture I took Christmas day (Dan did take some videos thank goodness). We had a great Christmas, this was the first year we did our own thing at our house and we had such a great time with Bekam opening his gifts, I will have to take and post some pics of him playing with all of his fun new stuff. On Christmas eve we frosted sugar cookies, here is Bekam's art work. Making a mess :0) (don't mind the post prego gut) The weekend before Christmas we took Bekam to see Santa and to look at Christmas lights. This is a house that is covered with lights and they are choreographed to music, it was so awesome. Here is Bekam being so brave with Santa. This couple dresses up and sits outside their home every night so kids can come and sit on his lap, and their house is all decked out with decorations and lights, it was so fun.

Winter Happenings

Here are a few pics of what's been going on with us this month. I loaded them wrong so I started with the most recent and worked backwards. Here are just a couple of pics from Thanksgiving at my parents house. Jaxon was showing Dan a new game to play on his phone. The kids watching a movie This was a fun snow storm we had the week of Thanksgiving, you can't really tell how big this drift was, but it was huge. Dan didn't have to go into work because of the weather and we were completely snowed in at our house, it was pretty fun. The stupid snow plows finally remembered us at 8 pm on Wednesday, the snow had gotten so bad that their plow trucks got stuck in front of our house. Here is our very own Handy Manny helping dad put together some shelves down stairs. He put that little blue bag on his head and said it was his Handy Manny hat. These pics are from forever ago when we got our first snowfall, I think it was the beginning of November. But Bekam was so excited about it snowing so as soon as Dad walked in the door he asked if we could build a snow man. Here is the finished product.

Halloween

If you can't tell Bekam was a pirate for Halloween. He had a lot of fun trick or treating at the Grandparents and Great Grandparents houses. We made the rounds to a few houses in a Shelley neighborhood, but people are lame and not too many houses had their porch lights on. The Monday before we carved up our pumpkins, and yes Dan and I were the artists...I know it's impressive. And this pic is for Lindsay (here is your belly shot). This kid may have a complex later since this is the only prego pic we've taken, me at 28 or 29 weeks.

Pumpkin Patch

Friday we took Bekam to a pumpkin patch here in town. It was a lot of fun, they had a train ride for the kids, a corn maze, and then of course the big pumpkin patch. Bekam didn't get to ride the train, because of course the night we went they weren't running it but we did get some pics of him sitting on it. I asked him earlier in the day if he wanted to go get a "little pumpkin" and he said, "No I want a HUGE pumpkin!" So we found him a pumpkin almost as big as he is. Trying to pick up a pumpkin The first thing he said when we got back in the car was, "I wanna carve it"
