Fun Times

We watched Kardynn the other night because Chris and Alyssa were a little under the weather (thanks to us passing along our wonderful flu bug). Kard and Bek were quite entertained playing together, I think they had more fun playing with the tote that holds the toys rather than the actual toys. Bekam kept trying to stand up inside the tote, but it just wasn't cooperating And here is Bekam enjoying making an absolute mess of the kitchen :0)

Mini Me

Up until now Bekam has definitely been a mama's boy. However over the past few months Bek and Dan have definitely become best buds. Bekam copies everything he does, he wants to be wherever Dan is and he gets so excited when the door unlocks or someone knocks because he thinks Dad is home. I was a little jealous at first, but now it's got to be the cutest thing ever. Lincoln City, OR

Last week we met all of Dan's family in Lincoln City, OR for vacation. We stayed in a house about a mile from the ocean. It was so beautiful and we had such a good time playing on the beach and enjoying a little R and R. Each time we went to the beach we dug a hole for the kids to play in and they were in seventh heaven. Bek was a little unsure at first of the sand on his bare feet, but once he was used to it he was all over the place. Making castles with grandma...she would make them and then he would smash them.Dan on the skim boardThis is Bek going to town on his corn on the cob, he ate two of those and later that night puked about five times. We thought it was the corn, but come to find out we all (the three of us) ended up with a stomach bug, great ending to the vacation. But that aside we had an absolute blast and wish we could have stayed for a month.

Summer Fun

Last Saturday we heard on the radio that a hardware store in Pullman was giving out free hot dogs, so we thought um sure why not we like free lunch. So we found a park up the road to sit and enjoy our free food. B man loving the swingsSo I don't know what the person was thinking when they designed/built this slide. The stairs going up to it were super steep, it is really high and you haul butt going down it. I don't know what child wouldn't be scared to death or pee his pants on the way down. I was nervous climbing up the stairs. As you can tell by the second picture Dan almost took Bekam out on the way down because it goes so fast. We have a funny video of just me going down, but we won't show that because I was wearing a skirt and kind of exposed myself, good thing we were the only ones there.These are just a couple of cute pics from the other morning. Bekam found his hat and wanted to wear it. He kept it on all morning and if it came off he would come find me saying "please please" to put it back on.
