Child Prodigy

Here is Bekam trying out his new golf set. I'm not going to lie he's pretty good, I think we may have a future money maker on our hands. Dad showing him how it's done.I love this pic, he's looking at it like...hmm what am I supposed to do with this?

Kiddie Pool

Here is Bekam and his cousin Kardynn playing in the kiddie pool for the first time. They both cried when we put them in it, which is totally weird since they both love the bathtub go figure. Check out that tank! Playing peek a boo with Kardynn I didn't think it was a big deal that I didn't have any swim diapers. But the diaper was so full that it broke open and all of those weird gel pieces started to come out...whoops. As you can tell he didn't really like it either, since he's trying to pull it off.

Trip Home

Last week we got to enjoy a little trip home. It was a blast of course and goes by way too fast. Here are some pics from G & G Hess' (the next post has pics from G & G Stevens). Bek enjoyed playing in the water while my dad watered the lawn and playing with a dog that is three times his size. And of course playing with his cousins.

Grandma and Grandpa Stevens

Here are some pics from G & G Stevens house. Bek had a ball watching the dogs, he really wanted to follow them around wherever they went. He also thought the stairs were the best toy ever, too bad he didn't figure out how to go down them until the day before we left.

Finally!

Warm beautiful weather has finally arrived...yahoo! Such a sweetie pie!

Big Boy!

We decided to get Bekam some plates to start eating off of. He does really good, until he's done eating then the food ends up on the floor and all over the table and the plate becomes a toy. He likes to play peek-a-boo with it. We've experimented with a fork and spoon, but those fingers are so much easier.

Sweet Goodness!

Here are just a few pics of Bek enjoying his bday cake. He must take after me cause he didn't even make a mess. We stripped him down, but it wasn't even necessary he only ended up with a little around his mouth and all over his hands. He of course loved it, he didn't dare touch it at first probably cause he thought it was too good to be true. He was literally shaking he was so excited, it was pretty hilarious.

Birthday continued

Here are just a few pics of the decorations and the cake. I made a rubber ducky cake that turned out really cute. But I should have known that something was going to go wrong. Why wouldn't it, with my luck. I try to be crafty, but then things like this happen and it makes me question why, what's the point, I should leave it up to the professionals. I won't tell you what happened I'll let the pics tell you the story...An hour before the party I was cleaning up some crumbs on the floor and I looked up and this is what I found. I was speechless, I think I just sat there and stared at it. I am proud to say that nothing bad came out of my mouth and I didn't cry. I decided to take a pic so that maybe later I can laugh about it. So here is the cake with head number two, thanks to the fabulous Dan. He went to the stor and bought some small pound cakes and more frosting and he was able to help the decapitated duck.

Happy Birthday Little B!!

Yesterday was the little man's 1st birthday! I can't believe that a year has come and gone, it doesn't even seems possible. So here are a few posts of the excitement of the day, so prepare your self now for lots and lots of pictures! The three of us went out for breakfast that morning and opened presents before Dan had to get to school. We then had a rubber ducky themed party for him that night. As you can tell from the first two pics the ducks and balloons were quite a hit. These last two are of him enjoying some of his presents. Thanks again to the Grandparents for being so great, we wish you all could have been here.
