Grandma and Grandpa Stevens
Here are some pics from G & G Stevens house. Bek had a ball watching the dogs, he really wanted to follow them around wherever they went. He also thought the stairs were the best toy ever, too bad he didn't figure out how to go down them until the day before we left.

Big Boy!
We decided to get Bekam some plates to start eating off of. He does really good, until he's done eating then the food ends up on the floor and all over the table and the plate becomes a toy. He likes to play peek-a-boo with it. We've experimented with a fork and spoon, but those fingers are so much easier.

Sweet Goodness!
Here are just a few pics of Bek enjoying his bday cake. He must take after me cause he didn't even make a mess. We stripped him down, but it wasn't even necessary he only ended up with a little around his mouth and all over his hands. He of course loved it, he didn't dare touch it at first probably cause he thought it was too good to be true. He was literally shaking he was so excited, it was pretty hilarious.

Birthday continued
Here are just a few pics of the decorations and the cake. I made a rubber ducky cake that turned out really cute. But I should have known that something was going to go wrong. Why wouldn't it, with my luck. I try to be crafty, but then things like this happen and it makes me question why, what's the point, I should leave it up to the professionals. I won't tell you what happened I'll let the pics tell you the story...

An hour before the party I was cleaning up some crumbs on the floor and I looked up and this is what I found. I was speechless, I think I just sat there and stared at it. I am proud to say that nothing bad came out of my mouth and I didn't cry. I decided to take a pic so that maybe later I can laugh about it.
So here is the cake with head number two, thanks to the fabulous Dan. He went to the stor and bought some small pound cakes and more frosting and he was able to help the decapitated duck.
Happy Birthday Little B!!
Yesterday was the little man's 1st birthday! I can't believe that a year has come and gone, it doesn't even seems possible. So here are a few posts of the excitement of the day, so prepare your self now for lots and lots of pictures! The three of us went out for breakfast that morning and opened presents before Dan had to get to school. We then had a rubber ducky themed party for him that night. As you can tell from the first two pics the ducks and balloons were quite a hit.

These last two are of him enjoying some of his presents. Thanks again to the Grandparents for being so great, we wish you all could have been here.

Happy Easter!
Here's some pics of dying Easter eggs. Bek enjoyed some cheerios while mom and dad had fun doing all the work. We didn't get to have an Easter egg hunt at our house because of course it rained most of Sunday. I was obviously more irritated about it than Bekam was. But we still had a great day with good food and of course plenty of candy.

Couple of Fools
Dan and I celebrated our four year anniversary yesterday. The three of us went to lunch before Dan had to get back to the lab. Bekam scored all sorts of free food from our waiter. We didn't order Bek his own food, because I was feeding him some of my beans and rice. But the waiter thought he needed his own plate of rice and of course some dessert. He liked the ice cream, but he kept making funny faces because it was so cold.

Flirting with the ladies behind us, it was hilarious. He's turning into quite the ladies man.

Spring Cleaning
Trip to Spokane
This week has been Dan's spring break, but we couldn't go anywhere because Dan still has to work in the lab everyday. But we managed to sneak away for two days to Spokane, WA. It's nice to get out of Moscow, because there isn't a lot to do here. Spokane has some good shopping and lot's of good places to eat. We of course did some wonderful shopping and Bekam was awesome the whole time. He just sat in his stroller while we carted him around everywhere. He loved watching people and really got a kick at all of the girls making a fuss over him. (I have never seen him so flirty)
Here is his first Olive Garden experience, as you can tell by his face he really enjoyed it. He especially loved the bread sticks.

Enjoying some cartoons in the hotel while mom and dad got all packed up.

Mr. Curious
Now that Bekam can walk he has found all sorts of different toys to play with and new things to get into.
Inside one of the kitchen chairs, which was made possible thanks to Grandma Hess (you know why mom)
Who knew a high chair could be so entertaining...he played for a good 30 minutes
This is a new favorite because he can open and shut it and bang on the shelf. Definitely cheap entertainment.
