Winter Camping

So last weekend we were running errands and Bekam asked if we could go camping, I told him that it was way too cold to go camping. He told me that it wouldn't be too cold because we would be in a tent :0). So we compromised and told him that we could camp in the house. We borrowed Dan's uncle's canopy and set it up Saturday night. Bekam was so excited, it was so much fun. Yeah it was a lot bigger than we remembered, we had to move all of the furniture out of the living room for it to fit. This picture makes me laugh because Rafe kept whacking Dan on the head with that thing. We made tinfoil dinners. And made s'mores, with Reese's PB cups...highly recommended. We had gotten Mary Poppins from the library so we watched that. All of us but Rafe slept in here (he got the comfort of his own bed). This is Bekam trying to wake Dan up the next morning. These are just a few pictures from the last few weeks. It always cracks me up to look through the pictures on the camera and see the pictures that Bekam has taken. This kid is all over the place when he sleeps. Such a Ham! Gotta love these faces. And this is the face that he gives if he ever has to have his diaper or clothes changed. Such a treat. And this one makes me laugh and realize how old Bekam is getting. I asked him to clean up his room the other day. And I was amazed when I went in and his room was spotless. Funny thing though, usually his stuffed animals are in the corner of the room and they were gone. I opened up the closet and this is what I found :0).

isn't it crazy that they throw such a fit when they have to be changed! Josh does the very same thing every time and it is such a pain.
