Visitors

Over the weekend my parents came for a visit. It was so nice to have them, especially because Dan went to Pittsburgh for a few days so it was nice to have them here to keep Bekam and I busy. My Dad put his socks on Bek's hands, he thought it was the coolest thing ever. If they came off he would follow you around saying "please" until you put them back on. He thought he was pretty tricky cause he could drink with no hands.We finally got to go to our pool here and we had a blast, Bek loved the water that shot up out of the ground. Watching DiegoObviously it was an eventful weekend, because we wore them out.

Cutie Pie

Here are some pics of Bekam helping mom make brownies and enjoying licking the spoon. He refused it when I tried to get him to lick it, I had to finally wipe some on his lips to get him to try it and then he perked right up and was ready for the spoon. Obviously from his face you can tell that he thoroughly enjoyed it. Here's Bek playing in his turtle pool.Bek loved the water spraying out the top, it was pretty entertaining.

Arboretum

Just some pics of the fam walking around the U of I Arboretum. As you can tell it was almost bedtime. I just want to squeeze him!

Bedtime Pals

These are Bekam's two favorite sleeping buddies. When we lay him down in his crib he rolls onto his stomach and tucks froggie under one arm and tiger under the other. If you ask him where they are he'll go find them. Most of the time they're in his crib and he tries to pull them out through the slats and he gets super mad if he can't get them through.

Child Prodigy

Here is Bekam trying out his new golf set. I'm not going to lie he's pretty good, I think we may have a future money maker on our hands. Dad showing him how it's done.I love this pic, he's looking at it like...hmm what am I supposed to do with this?

Kiddie Pool

Here is Bekam and his cousin Kardynn playing in the kiddie pool for the first time. They both cried when we put them in it, which is totally weird since they both love the bathtub go figure. Check out that tank! Playing peek a boo with Kardynn I didn't think it was a big deal that I didn't have any swim diapers. But the diaper was so full that it broke open and all of those weird gel pieces started to come out...whoops. As you can tell he didn't really like it either, since he's trying to pull it off.

Trip Home

Last week we got to enjoy a little trip home. It was a blast of course and goes by way too fast. Here are some pics from G & G Hess' (the next post has pics from G & G Stevens). Bek enjoyed playing in the water while my dad watered the lawn and playing with a dog that is three times his size. And of course playing with his cousins.

Grandma and Grandpa Stevens

Here are some pics from G & G Stevens house. Bek had a ball watching the dogs, he really wanted to follow them around wherever they went. He also thought the stairs were the best toy ever, too bad he didn't figure out how to go down them until the day before we left.

Big Boy!

We decided to get Bekam some plates to start eating off of. He does really good, until he's done eating then the food ends up on the floor and all over the table and the plate becomes a toy. He likes to play peek-a-boo with it. We've experimented with a fork and spoon, but those fingers are so much easier.
