Best purchase ever!

I got these hats in the mail today, and they are seriously the cutest things ever! My friend Paige's grandma made them and she did awesome! Money well spent. Check out this guy holding his head up like a pro. So I know most of my posts consist of the boys on the floor smiling for the camera, but with this cold Idaho weather and a new baby we don't venture out a whole lot, so our days are pretty much the same, so here are a few of the usual. The first two are Bekam's handy work behind the camera...not to shabby for a first time photographer. (And of course "baby tiger" had to be in the shots as well). Enjoying their pillow pets. I think these two will be life long friends. :0)

The "hawk" is back

We've been watching videos of Bekam from last year and decided we missed his mohawk, it fits him all to well...so it's back. The other evening while I was making dinner Bekam asked if I would put him on the counter next to Rafe and take a picture. The days of swaddling are now behind us, little man prefers his arms out now. When I'm first putting him to sleep he wants his arms down so I swaddle him loosely, because once he's asleep, if he can't get his arms out he freaks. I had to throw in some pictures from bath time today with Rafe in all of his chubby glory. He had his two month appt. about a week ago (on the 21st) and he was a whopping 13.9 lb (88%) and 23.5 in (71%). Gotta love those cheeks and thighs!

Last Saturday was Dan's last birthday before the big 3-0! We had a great day together as a fam, and Dan and I even got to sneak away for a movie. This is the cake I made for him. I made it into a kindle because that's what he got for his birthday. Bekam and Jace were pretty excited to help blow out the candles. I painted some of these airplanes to hang up in Bekam's room and he always wants to play with them. So we went and bought him his very own so he could paint it. Bath time beauties. Happy Valentines Day!

For Valentines Day we had a nice dinner together just the four of us, it was great! We had steak, shrimp and potatoes. Here is Bekam enjoying his valentine cookie from Grandma...as you can tell he liked it since he got it clear up onto his forehead. I finally got Rafe smiling on camera, and it was oh so cute! Got to love those chubby little cheeks! The other day I tried our blessing outfit on Rafe to make sure it was going to fit him, because he's getting bigger a lot faster than Bekam did...but thank goodness it still fit. My sweet boys! And this is Bekam chill-axin in the crib while I fed Rafe.

Nothing too exciting has been going on around here lately, but here are a few fun pics from the past few weeks. Aunt Janie came over to keep me and the boys company, this is the bed that she and Bekam made in his closet...he thought that was pretty cool. This is just a cute one of Rafe (at 5 weeks...i think) This is our studly little super hero. Bekam is always acting like a super hero throughout the day, I made him a costume so he could be more official. Enjoying some tummy time, that lasted about 2 min :0) I took these pics yesterday. Rafe is now 6 weeks old, so crazy! While Bekam was laying on the floor with him he was talking to him and Rafe totally smiled. Of course neither Dan nor I have been able to get him to smile since, Bekam just has that magical touch. Rafe started to cry, and this is Bekam "shhhhing" him. And last but not least here is Bekam and Dad making snow angels in the carpet.
